My son and I went to Canada last summer for a vacation on a jet Charter. We didn’t take the usual commercial airline because we were traumatized by the recent 9/11 terrorist attack. My wife recently passed away so Henry and I needed to clear our minds. Laura always wanted to go to Canada to see the sights and sounds. I deeply regret not having this trip when she was still alive, I think Laura would have wanted me and Henry to come here.
The air Charter took us to our first destination which was the Calgary Stampede Park, where every year since 1912 the Calgary Exhibition and the Stampede have been held. The world’s biggest and wildest rodeo cowboys compete here to be “The Best of the Bunch”. Night time entertainment with live performances by the latest country music artists were held at the “Stampede Park.”

After the Calgary Stampede Park, we then took a New Flight Charters flight to Canada’s Olympic Park. We took a guided tour and saw the breath-taking view of the Calgary skyline from the top of the 90-meter ski-slope. I sat down on a protruding rock to cry for a few moments, remembering my lost love—when my son came up to me and said,” it’s okay dad, I miss mom too.” He gave me a warm hug sat down beside me to watch the sun set.
